Local contribution

Vindr works closely with Åsnes Municipality and our landowner to ensure that our project is carried out in a satisfactory manner, and not least, we want our project to generate benefits in the form of local value creation.

Through close and constructive dialogue with the grid owner, we want to upgrade the existing grid. Together with new local power generation from the solar power plant, this will open up opportunities for establishing new industry in the region. The project will also have local ripple effects during construction and in connection with operation and maintenance. This will be achieved through the purchase of goods and services locally and regionally and through the employment of local staff to operate the plant.
