Rudsvellhøgda wind farm will support local industry and value creation. The project can strengthen energy supply for businesses, create jobs during both construction and operation, and generate increased revenues for the local community.
The area has a single landowner. The municipality owns adjacent land that may be considered for expansion. In that case, the municipality would receive lease income as a landowner, in addition to the general revenues from wind power in the municipality, which today amount to around NOK 1 million per turbine per year.
