Local contribution

For Sarpsborg municipality, the wind farm will provide additional income through property tax, production fees, and a share of the resource rent tax, amounting to an estimated NOK 3 million annually.

New and upgraded grid infrastructure, together with new renewable power from the project, will help open opportunities for new industries to establish themselves locally.

The project will also create local ripple effects during both construction and operation, through the purchase of local and regional goods and services and through local personnel employed to operate the wind farm.
